　ペチャクチャナイト "京都"の第１回開催に京都アートカウンシルがプレゼンターとして出場しました。

　　プレゼンターは京都アートカウンシル前幹事「門谷和泉」さん。

●1993年　KYOTO ART FAIRが発足

　　KYOTO ART FAIRが発足しました。
　 （京都アートフェア…京都アートカウンシルの前身）
　　KYOTO ART FAIR made a start in 1993.
　　It is the past of KYOTO ART COUNCIL.

　　京都は、新しい文化の創造や積極的な技術革新で時代の先端都市であった。
　　KYOTO was the city which had the creation of the new culture and
　　an active technological innovation.
　　↓
　　革新的な土壌・自由な空気は現存
　　The people who live there are progressive, and keep having a free mind.
　　↓
　　パワー分散の今、ストック依存型観光都市に。
　　As a result which the power which such people had dispersed around it became
　　the tourist town which was dependent on the past legacy as that result.
　　↓
　　来るべく建都1,300年へ向けて、変革の原点や京都を活性化する源がここであった !
　　という出発原点創成を目論み「アート」という観点と「交流」という視点で
　　まずは、人的資源の交流促進に着眼した。
　　We think that it is important to concentrate the power
　　which the people have again and it can get over that subject by the power
　　which art has, and the people's interchange promotion.
　　We think that it is important to begin now, too, for the future final result.

●統廃合された小学校跡地の活用

　　統廃合された小学校の跡地活用による都市部の再開発が検討された当時
　　景観・伝統文化の保存・振興や近代化・国際化を踏まえて
　　進化していく都市化のプログラムへの対応など
　　京都を活性化する統合的創造を、
　　この跡地活用を一つのモデルケースとして行動実践することとした。
　　We think that validity use for the place where it was
　　an elementary school long ago is important.
　　That place was chosen as a model case to activate Kyoto.

●立誠アートセンター（仮称）構想

　　統廃合による閉校小学校をプロットしていくと、
　　京都の中心街に立地する立誠小学校を活動モデルの要とし
　　立誠アートセンター（仮称）の設立を構想した。
　　Rissei elementary school is in the center of Kyoto City.
　　Because of that, it was decided that we moved Rissei elementary school to
　　the foothold of the activities.
　　That was named Rissei art center temporarily.

●1996年4月　京都アートカウンシル発足

　　1996年４月、京都アートカウンシル（KAC）発足 !
　　KYOTO ART COUNCIL made a start in april, 1996.
　　KYOTO ART FAIRの構想を引き継ぎ発足。
　 「ひと」「アート」「京都」がキーワード
　　気品と誇りある町衆 =「ひと」
　　崇高な感性・熟達 =「アート」
　　活気（ライブ感）ある町 =「京都」
　　We took over a plan for KYOTO ART FAIR, and made KYOTO ART COUNCIL.
　　The key word which that plan has is "Let's activate Kyoto by the art".

●元・立誠小学校との関わり1　高瀬川桜まつり

　　KYOTO ART FAIRからの活動を引き継ぎ、春（４月）の「高瀬川桜まつり」に参加・運営協力。
　　※以後、毎年参加・運営協力。
　　自治連合会等、各種地域団体とも協力し合って更なる人的資源交流促進を目指す。
　　Let me introduce our activities.
　　The activities which it lets me introduce are "Takase-gawa cherry blossoms festival" first.
　　This festival is held every year in April.
　　Takase-gawa circumference is the place where cherry blossoms bloom beautifully magnificently.
　　We cooperate with the local resident, and hold this cherry blossoms festival.
　　We love cherry blossoms very much.
　　We wish everyone to enjoy these cherry blossoms, too.
　　Let's meet at the cherry blossoms festival.
　　The people's friendship begins from there.

●元・立誠小学校との関わり2　高瀬川夏まつり

　　夏（8月）の「高瀬川夏まつり」にも参加・運営協力。
　　ポスター作りからライトアップ、灯ろう作り、灯ろう流しと盆踊り等協力。
　　年々一般の参加者も増え、盆踊りなどは踊りの輪が2重になるほど盛況。
　　過去、正面橋で盆踊りをしていたことを思い出し、年々規模が大きくなり盛大になるのをみて感無量の思い。
　　人的資源交流の「輪」が広がる。
　　※以後、毎年参加・運営協力。
　　Next, the activities which it lets me introduce are "Takase-gawa summer festival".
　　This festival is held every year in August.
　　Do you know everyone "Toro-nagashi & bon-odori" ?
　　"Toro-nagashi & bon-odori" are a Japanese traditional religion event.
　　We prepare an event, and make a poster, and make "Toro", and those activities are various.
　　Participants increased year by year, too, and this summer festival became splendid.
　　Many people become friends.

●元・立誠小学校との関わり3　「まなびや」

　　2002年から立誠小学校で『まなびや』を開催。立誠小学校は1993年に廃校となりました。
　　そして小学校に『もう一度光を入れよう』という主旨で大人の学校ごっこを行ないました。
　 「まなびや」とは
　　楽しく地域文化を共有する事を前提に京都木屋町にある
　　元・立誠小学校を蘇らせるイベントです。
　　地元住民・市民団体・学生ボランティアの共同ワークで界隈の将来在るべき姿を見つめ直し
　　近い将来の地域アイデンティティの在り方を示唆する事を狙いとしています。
　　今年も10月30日、31日に「まなびや～芸祭～」を開催します。
　 「まなびや」は今年で第9回。
　　年々規模も大きくなり開催期間も長くなった。
　　参加・協力団体も増えて様々なイベント催されるが…
　　迎える10周年に向けて、新たなる試みも!?
　　'Manabiya' is held in the Rissei elementary school in 2002.
　　The Rissei elementary school was closed in 1990.
　　And,Play school was done to the elementary school by purport 'Let's put light again'.
　　What meaning is 'Manabiya' ?
　　As for that, it is a premise to share the culture of the area with all of the members.
　　Then, the Rissei elementary school made to revive.
　　A local inhabitant, citizen group and student volunteer, the cooperation of all of
　　the members makes the future plan of the area.
　　'Manabiya art festival' is in the important of the activities with The Kyoto art council.
　　It is held on the 30th and October 31 this year.
　　We are waiting for everyone's presence.
　　and 'Manabiya' is the ninth holding at this year.
　　A scale is big year by year.
　　Next year, the 10th anniversary.
　　It may happen that something changed.
　　Look forward to it.

●1997年　美観提言　ローソン（祇園石坂下）

　　1997年、ローソンが祇園石段下に出店を計画していました。
　　京都アートカウンシルは、景観地区に店の外観は似合わないと判断し、
　　当時の株式会社ローソンに直談判をし、町家のような格子の外観や色彩などを提言。
　　その提言が取り入れられ今のようなデザインによりました。
　　We suggested it variously to keep a beautiful sight.
　　Lawson was planning the branch shop Gion ishidanshita in 1997.
　　The Kyoto art council were judged that externals of the shop did not suit the scenic area district,
　　negotiated direct with Lawson Ltd. at that time, and made externals of the lattice
　　like the tradesmen's house.

●1997年　美観提言　鴨川仮設橋実験

　　1997年、京都市は先斗町と木屋町間の鴨川に新たな橋『ポン・デ・ザール』を掛ける計画を発表しました。
　 『京都アートカウンシルは反対でも賛成でもない。
　　しかしこのような景観になりますよ』というデモンストレーションとして、
　　沢山の風呂敷を鴨川に縦断させてみました。
　　We made an experiment variously to keep a beautiful landscape.
　　Kyoto City is a new bridge in Kamogawa between Ponto-cho and the Kiyamachi in 1997.
　　The plan to multiply 'Pont des Arts' was announced.
　 『The Kyoto art council do not agree even if it is opposite.
　　However, it becomes such a spectacle. 』
　　It ran through to Kamogawa a lot of wrappers as the demonstration.

●2005年10月〜11月年　都市再生調査　照明実験

　　2005年10～11月、都市再生調査として
　 「木屋町・都市繁華街の安心・安全コミュニティーの形成と地域景観の創造」の一環として
　　元・立誠小学校、高瀬川を照明実験。
　　This was one activity to keep a beautiful landscape, too.
　　The lighting of the Kiya-machi & Takase-gawa areas were tested as a means to regenerate a city
　　from October in 2005 until November.
　　That experiment was highly praised from each newspaper comment.

●企画展の開催

　　1998年７月「信じるということ」
　　2000～2002年「鬼展」
　　などの個性的な企画展や時流を鑑みた展覧会を催してきました。
　　Many wonderful artists are in our member.
　　We believe their power.
　　And, there are people whom someone's help is necessary for in the various causes, too.
　　It believes that the ability of art helps them as for us.
　　Many exhibitions were planned for that.

●2006年〜2008年　サロンの運営

　　2006年～2008年、右京区の町家ギャラリーを「京都・小米庵 by KAC」として
　　様々なサロン、講演会、展覧会などを実施
　　We had a wonderful saloon for the people's friendship.
　　That was 2 years from 2006 until 2008.
　　Various happenings were born there.
　　That happening is kept in many people's heart as the important recollections even now.
　　The name of that place was being called 'Kogome-an'.
　　It is hoping that these important recollections follow the next new recollections.

●諸団体との交流

　　2007年10月、福井県池田町で行われた廃油をリサイクル活用した「いけだエコキャンドル」に
　　研修旅行も兼ねて作品参加。沢山の方々との交流が出来ました。
　　That was a matter of October, 2007.
　　We knew that a certain entertainment was held in Fukui Prefecture Ikeda-machi.
　　That was beautiful, and solemn, and it was the entertainment which affected a heart.
　　The name of that entertainment was being called 'Ikeda eco-candle'.
　　There was a connection as for us, and we could participate in that entertainment.
　　Our original work was produced with all and completed.
　　That work gave the people impression, and then connected a connection
　　with many important friends.

●京都の景観や町並みの保全　京都路地裏探検隊

　　京都路地裏探検隊
　　京都の景観や町並み保全活動の一環として、まず町並みや看板を観察する事からスタート。
　　一般観光ルートを避け「京都人の京都知らず」という命題を胸に
　　今まで知らなかった京都を探し歩く気ままな探検
　　2007年からスタートしこの10月24日の開催で15回を数えます。
　　These activities are the meetings which walk an alley and a byway in Kyoto and to explore.
　　The purpose of that meeting is to observe the town which has a beautiful landscape and tradition.
　　That method is to walk with all together.
　　We decide a destination first.
　　But, a course there isn't decided.
　　We decide a course as the occasion demanded.
　　That is pleasant and exciting.
　　However, the participant's pleasure of No.1 is a party after the end.
　　These activities began in 2007.
　　The next holding is October 24.
　　It is the 15th time.

●これからの京都アートカウンシル

　　京都アートカウンシルは、来期で15周年。
　　京都を活性化する源を創成するため
　 「アート」という観点と「交流」という視点で
　 「ひと」「アート」「京都」をキーワードに
　　人的資源の交流促進に着眼し、元・立誠小学校の跡地活用を一つのモデルケースとして
　　さらなる行動を実践する。
　　Our slide show ends in this.
　　The next year is the 15th anniversary.
　　We look for many friends.

　　It is waiting for much joining.
　　I think that it is very happy that it could participate in this presentation.

　　And we appreciate meeting many great superiors.
　　But, a new future can't be built up by the imitation.
　　Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the men of old ;
　　seek what they sought.
　　We think that this word will be kept in the heart firmly.
